Car amplifier no longer working?

• A friend of mine has a lanzar 2000.2 watt amp, he used it for awhile worked good enough, then all of a sudden the amp lost the ability to work on the LPF, even on full it wouldn't hit any low notes, now the amp no longer does anything except light up the LED saying it gets power, if it does make a difference the REM+ wire that was hooked up to his radio went out the same time the amp did, the amp had good fuses *the wires in my car don't have any problems, its a 4g -> 2x 8g and have 2x 8g grounds, and tested other amps on my wiring the same day (and before this day) this amp is the only problem that i've had, RCAs are correct, and the REM+ is correct* short explanation 2000 watt amp, LPF went out as did the REM+ on friend setup i tried using the amp, confirmed LPF didn't work, and i didn't hit any low notes on LPF, or FULL now, LPF, FULL, and HPF have no sound output to the sub-woofer but the LED does light up

  Does your amp have high level inputs? Try those instead of the RCAs and see if that does anything.
