Where is the amplifier in a radio?

What amplifier,radio,and speakers should I get?

  • I have a 2002 Dodge Ram 3500 Dually. I want to hook up an amplifier, 2-6 speakers with some good vibration (which I am making a box for), and I need a new in-dash radio so I can hook up the amp and speakers to it because the factory radio is a no-go. I am looking to spend around $200-$400 on this set-up, nothing too fancy but something that will last. Any ideas as to what radio,amp,and speakers I should get that will all work well with each other?
