A reasonably cheap car stereo that can connect with an ipod?

How can I connect my iPod to my car stereo?

  • I have an Eclipse cd3403 in my car, and as far as I can see, there isn't a 3.5mm plug (which is a bummer). There isn't a cassette player either, so the tape connectors won't work. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.

    well they usaully have them where it can cannect to the car lighter theres a special adapter you have to buy. you really can get it anywhere. Target. Fred Meyer. Walmart best buy etc. or you can buy a wireless one that goes to your radio. in your car, but I think those speakers dont work as well. but you can try :)

you could just buy the radio adapter but they usually sound like crap but go for a new stereo because that would work way better one with usb that would charge your ipod and u can jus change the song through the stereo which is really awesome jus one tip when buying a stereo that has a usb and ipod connection too watch out cuz a lot of theese brands say they support ipod buy yet when u connect the ipod to the stereo it wont work and there for make sure you ask if you want to buy the ipod connection cable it usally is another conncection to the back so jus watch out it happened to lots of ppl i kno lol its very disapointing

at stores they have the car rechargers for ipods and they plug into the cigar lighter. some let you listen to ur music to but some dont
