Car stereo head unit rca pre out to home theater receivers?

• i have a car head unit setup with pulsing neon lights and every thing with a wireless remote control wired in house i have 2 home theater receivers connected to each other for power and i want to wire the pre out of the car head unit to the receivers but doesn't work it is a kenwood head unit with a 2v pre out and has the choice of sub out or rear out i just want it so i can press the on button on the remote and the lights the music and everything turns on and works together and the other speakers can be used also i would like to add 2 1200w pioneer car sub woofers suggestions for power supplies and amps ?

  you shouldnt really hook up car audio equipment up in your home, it can and will start fires. i'd just keep it at home audio equipment only and not worry about neons. you can buy a strobe light at wal mart and itl be just as "cool".
