What kind of amp do i need for these?

? about an amp..What kind of Amp do i need to push 2 10' subs?

• I have 2 10's they are memphis....i am looking to purchase this amp but im not to knowlegable about what certain things i need to be able to have the subs work to their full potetial....here are the specs to the amp im thinking of purchasing. The Model Number is XM-444W This is what is says on the box: - 35Wx4 RMS @ 4-ohms - 2x35W + 80W @ 4ohms - 2x80W @ 4ohms -Low-pass Filter -High-pass Filter - Dual Mode Capacity - MOSFET Power Supply - 6V input - Gold Plated Terminals THIS IS A SONY AMP.....SO ANY HELP OR SUGGESTIONS OR ADVICE WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED!!!   A 4-channel amp is not the best choice for your subs. A good monoblock (single channel) will be much better. The DVC Memphis 15-PR10D4 sub can be wired for either a 2 ohm load or an 8 ohm load. When you bridge 2 of the channels of the Sony, it is only stable to 4 ohms, so you will have to use the 8 ohm wiring option which will further reduce the already limited power. You'll end up with about 40 watts RMS to each sub. They need at least 100 watts and will sound a lot better with 250. Why not consider an amp like the Alpine MRP-M500 which outputs 300 watts into 4 ohms? Then you can series the voice coils (8 ohms) and parallel the subs (4 ohms) and each sub will get 150 watts rather than 40. Other good choices would be the Rockford-Fosgate Punch 300.1 or the Kicker ZX400.1. All of the amps are available for under $200 from www.sonicelectronix.com or www.crutchfield.com.
