How can I fix my amp/sub?

  • I unhooked my subwoofer from the amp but when I tried to hook it up again it didnt work anymore. I dont know why but I just figured like a home theatre system you could just unhook the wiring going into the sub and just plug it back in. Please help. Thanks!

well first check if when you unhooked them that no wires touched and caused one of your fuses in the car or amp to blow. then check your pre amp cables (red,white...usually) then ground and positive wire and remote, to see if there actively relaying the signal to your amp. after all that is checked and still no sound see if your amplifier is not blown or in protection. and my last suggestion is make shore you didn't mix up how you wired your set up correctly. that all i can think of ......

It is probably definately one of your fuses you are supposed to unhook your neg battery cable before you unhook wire so they dont spark or blow a fuse. Cheack them all and it wont be nothing to cange and inexpensive
