Advice on buying subs and an amp?

Buying a new car audio system, can I get some input and/or tips and advice?

  • I plan on buying two Kenwood KFC-1693PS speakers ( http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_22098_Kenwood-KFC-1693PS.html ) and connecting them to a Boss CX250 amplifier ( http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_24377_Boss-CX250.html ) I also plan on buying 2 SPL SP3-10 Subs ( http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_18024_SPL-SP3-10.html ) and connecting them in parrallel for a 2-ohm load to a Visonik VK1600 1D amplifier ( http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_35667_Visonik-VK1600.1D.html ) So as you can tell I plan on using a two amp setup, i dont know much about how to do this, but this is the amp wiring kit that I'm considering - - Absolute KIT-950 ( http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_21670_Absolute-KIT-950.html ) So what do you guys think? This is my first setup, and its going into a custom built box for a 1983 Ford F100, behind the bench seat, so space is an issue. But I welcome constructive criticism and any tips, advice, or just your feedback. Thanks. sorry about the URL's for some reason they don't want to link to the webpage

  • Answer:

Kenwood Kfc-1693Ps 6.5-Inch Performance Series Speaker System is and was unbeatable. sounds awesome i have kenwood kfc all around in my car. i can keep the bass at 0 to + 2 without distortion at high volumes. and then i can crank my subwoofer output to max and it sounds awesome.
