Car audio amp and sub question about if my amp is powerful enough for my sub!!?
-
I Have a rockford fosgate Punch P3D410 10 inch sub in a ported box and I have a phoenix gold xs2300 amp. Im having trouble finding the exact specs of the amp so I was wondering if anyone knew whether or not the amp has enough juice to power this sub without blowing the amp or speaker. any information would be great!

Answer:
2 x 75W @ 4 ohms.. 2 x 150W @ 2 ohms.. 1 x 300W @ 4 ohms bridged... You would hook one coil up to each channel for 150 watts total. Not enough for the sub, really.

You can hook up each coil per channel or wire parallel and wire to 1 channel. Either way a little under powered. Will not hurt anything, but you can upgrade later. Learn more and join a forum. http://carstereoforum.net/index.php
