I need an amp for my subwoofers.

I have 2 enclosed subwoofers with the amp and wiring kit, what else do i need ? do i need a battery?

• can i use my car battery or get a capicitor? or which is the best solution so i wont mess up my car? how im suppose to supplie the power to the system? and is there any thing else i need to hook up my system? 12"subwoofers is peak power:2400watts, RMS: 800 2400watt amp wiring kit enclosed box

  I had mine installed by a local shop that I trusted cost me like fifty dollars and all I needed were the things that you have. They ran the wiring from the subs through the box and to the Amp. They then ran the wiring through my car (under my seats and stuff) connected eventually through the front of the interior of my car and did connect it to the fuse box under the hood. It has its own fuse. I would recommend getting a capacitor if you can it will prevent the car from doing funky things like dimming headlights and dash lights when the bass hits. But using the battery will not hurt the car at all I have had mine hooked to the battery for two years now and no problems, it will drain your battery quickly though so try not to leave your system on when your engine is not started. I hope some of this helps. Also, I have heard from friends that average price for install can be as much as $75-$100.
