How do i add another set of speakers to my car?

• im seriously upgrading my sound system in my car and it comes from the factory with only 4 speakers - two in- dash 3 1/2" speakers, and two rear 4"x6" or 5"x7" (im not sure). i plan on changing the rears to 6"x9"'s and adding 5 1/4" door speakers. there is room in the doors for the ones i have picked but how do i install them? i will have an 1800 watt amp hooked up to 2 12" subs, but i really only need 1000 watts power the subs, so i will have enough power for all the speakers. step by step is preferred but do what you need to do...whatevers easiest, thanks.

  well a HUGE factor is your amp pushes out 1800 watts so is it 1ch 2 ch or 4ch? so there is way to many options to help you out with I need more specs. For example: if it's 1800 watts and it's 4 ch then when you break it down to usingyour subs 2 to 2 of the channels then your at 900 watts to power 2 subs depends on the ohms it's broken down to. now you have 2 channels left to mess with and thats 900watts for the 2 so you could break them down to 1ohn for the 2 in the doors and 2 in the dash then the other channel use the 2 and break it down to 1 ohm aswell but if you have a mono block amp then you can't wire EVERYTHING to it, won't be possible no amp would hold the load and be able to distribute the speakers evenly without distortion. so either buy another amp to power your speakers or something. :D
