Can an amplifier loose power?

Can i power 2 MTX JH55 12" subs with one MTX JH404 amplifier?

• i recently purchased 2 MTX JH55 subs and am having trouble finding the right amplifier that wont break the bank. the subs are rated for 4 Ω, RMS Power (Watts) 400, Rec. RMS Amplifier Power (Watts) 200 - 400. the amp is a 4 channel amp that is rated for 200 Watts RMS x 2 Channel bridged at 4 Ohms. so i am wondering if this amp will work and how i would wire it because it has 2 diffrent rca imputs and a front and rear side. http://www.caraudioxperts.com/images/mtx-jh404.jpg . if someone could please email me a drawn picture of how you would wire this and if it will work that would be awsome. also do i need a capacitor for this amp thank you very much

  You do not need a capacitor. The JH404 will power the subs, but at the low end of their RMS power handling rating. Most 4-channel amps are not the best choice for powering subs.
