Can i "double up" the wiring coming from my sub and fill all four connections on my multi channel amp?
-
I have a 15" sub hooked up straight to my multi-channel Amp and i have bridged it between the two channels (Positive on channel 1, Negative on channel 2). A friend of mine asked what would happen if we were to get more wiring and intergrade it from the left-over Negative on Channel 1 and Positive on channel 2 - straight to the same sub. Would this add more power to the sub? or perhaps over load and leave me with a broken sub or amp...

Answer:
One of two things will happen- 1) Nothing, 2) fry the amp.

would not recommend doing that it will probably burn up one of the channels in the amp if you want more power and only have that one sub hooked up to that amp go buy a bigger amp that is a mono block which means only one channel
