Whats the difference in car speakers?
-
the difference between 2way, 3way or 4way
-
Answer:
Those are known as coaxial meaning they all have more than one speaker hence the 2, 3 way. Each "way" is the number of speakers. So a 3 way has the main speaker and two other tweaters. Component speakers are just one speaker (A.K.A. seperates) and you would have each speaker in it's own place. Example a main speaker in each door, a tweeter in each side of the the dash. Component speakers are prefered among audiophiles for better sound control and quality.
