I have a 650 watt kenwood car amp 12V, should i use a battery or inverter to power amp? what amp/h?

i got a car amp a sub and 2 pioneer speakers. the amp is 650 watt max output, (and i will be using it loudly), should i get a battery or inverter to power the 12v amp?, and what specs?, what amp/h etc? im using it indoors connecting it too my laptop. thanks
