What subwoofer should i buy for a 1969 vw bus?

Ascendant Audio, DC Audio and Fi (google and call them for a quote) make subs which SLAM. They range between the $200 to around $2000 for the most expensive ones (out of all the subs I mentioned... for DC lol) Make sure you get a proper enclosure though, otherwise a pre-fab $80 box will sound terrible. I would suggest for SQ and something that bumps, the DC Audio Level 4 and Ascendant Audio Havoc, which all range from 12" to 18" with the same spec apart from size. And for enclosures, make an account on stevemeadedesigns.com and send a pm to Sanitarium or a dude called Ray for an awesome box design for $20 or less. For speakers, JL Audio or Boston Acoustics (buy them from audiosavings for 1/2 price) are the way to go for SQ and everything else. For a receiver, basicaly anything over $160 is good. I bought a JVC KD-R626 for $170 and it works pretty well. Just make sure you don't buy dodgy brands like VR3, and READ REVIEWS BEFORE YOU BUY ON GOOGLE AND THE SITE YOU'RE BUYING FROM!!
