What is a good amp for my two 10 inch pioneer?

I have two 10 inch subs that are 300 rms each and a 4 channel 250 watt pioneer amp will this work?

  • If not what is the smallest watt amp thats good quality for a fair price? Thanks

Two 10 inch subs? Better share, because eating too much can make you sick.

Depends on the ohm load of the subs and what the amp is actually capable of. There are some decent mono amps that can be had for not much. Give the model number of both amps and subs, plus a budget of what you would be willing to spend if a mono amp is needed. Get with me for personal help if you'd like.

i typically will by an amp that runs my subs at half of the rms. always has done me well....to answer your question though, yes it will run it. if it is a single channel amp remember to run the wires parallel not in a series. meaning do not go from amp to speaker to speaker. go from amp to both speakers at the same time. a 300-500 watt amp would be really nice, but yours should work
