How do you install neon lights in your car with a switch?

  If you can physically install the lights on the vehicle, then you've accomplished the hardest part of the project. The neon kit should come with a central box that is responsible for hooking all the tubes up and supplying them with power. In a car, the ENTIRE chassis is linked together as the Negative (Ground) side of the circuit. All you need to do is to run a new Positive to the neon kit. The wire should attach either directly to the battery, or after the start solenoid if it is accessible. Then you wire it into the cabin of the vehicle to one terminal of a switch, and run a wire off the other terminal to the neon kit. Then run a wire attached to BARE metal to the negative on the kit, and you should be in business. Good luck.
