I need help on choosing a subwoofer for my amp!!!?

have an RCA 1000 watt amp (2 X 250W RMS @ 4 Ohms, 2 X 500W RMS @ 2 Ohms, 1 X 1000W MAX @ 4 Ohms (Bridged)). If i put 1sub that's 3000 Watt, 800 RMS, 4 Ohm, Would that be fine??

what kinda sub?, it should be fine because the rca amp isnt really a 1000 watts just dont play up to distortion
