How good is MB Quart?

If i get MB Quart ONX1.1000 with 2 subs TS-W3002D2|D4 would that be a good match?

  • and how many watts would be goin to my subs for maximum performance... i want to run the two subs on 1 ohm.. would i get the 1000 watts per sub??

  • Answer:

You'd need the dual 4's to get the most out of that amp (1000w at 1 ohm) and each sub would see 500w.

The impedance works out perfect. It really depends on if you get the D2 or the D4 model. If you are getting two subs, make sure you get the D4 model. That way you can wire everything in parallel and have the outcome to 1 ohm. The ONX1.1000 will work for what you are doing. For your real question of 100 watts per sub, the answer is no. The continuous(rms) wattage will divide out and send 500wrms to each sub. If you are looking to send 1000wrms to each sub, an amp that provides 2000wrms and being 1 ohm stable is what may be better for you. I am a big fan of MTX and Rockford Fosgate amps, which may help you along the way. I wish you the best of luck.
