My car amplifier not working in my car.

Car Amplifier Not Working Correctly?

  • I recieved this legacy la-700 amp...and the diagnostic light won't go off and i have re wired every single thing in the car and i have good power connection from the battery to the amp and when i connect the ground connection with all the other wires connected it will make the sub kick a little but then the diagnostic light will come on right after that and the sub will turn off.....i have tried every metal surface in my car for ground so i dont know what is wrong....... is there something im doing wrong or is there anything anyone can do to help i would really appreciate it

    i kinda have the same problem. My power wire is all connected rite and everything but the power light wont turn on. Just make sure you have rca wires.

easy question, it is not your ground. check your fuse on your positive gauge wire up front that is connected to the battery. Unhook the positive gauge fuse and see if there is any corrosion, if there is just screw the fuse back in tightly in that should work. Make sure the fuse is screw in tightly and that everything connects. Hope this helps.

First thing I would look at is to see if there are any blown fuses on the amp. I had this happen to me when I was stationed in Germany and I could never figure out what the problem was. I ultimately had to replace the because it was better to just spend the money on a new amp rather than getting it fixed. Good luck buddy.
