What are some good speakers for my car?

I'm not sure what i need for my car speakers to get a good bass do i need subs?

  • Okay for my birthday I want subs to make my car sound more fuller, and I just like bass when its turned up, and the feeling. Anyway I just want to know what kinds would be best for my car and what I need to do this because untouchably I know nothing about cars. Would I need a new radio system and speakers along with an amp? Because all I have in my little Malibu is the regular speakers that it came with and radio. And how much would this all be? Because I don’t want to spend to much for now.

    to get a system you ll need subs,a box, wiring kit, a capacitor, and an amp. if you want your door and back speakers to sound real good you ll need new ones that also run off of an and of course you ll need the wiring for those as well. i would not advise putting all this in yourself. get a professional to install it. which will also cost you money. honestly with all that stuff at decent to good quality you are looking at close to a grand.

You shouldn't need to replace the speakers but you will need an amp. Some stereos don't have the hook up for an amp so you may need a new deck, i would check to see if you can hook the amp up to the current stereo before buying a new deck.

im sorry gerald but you dont need a capacitor and if you still believe in capacitors then your knowledge on car audio is right where this guy who asked the question is. all you need is box sub, amp, and amp wiring kit, and aftermarket head unit, if you dont or cant get a aftermarket head unit then use a hi low converter, then take it to a car audio shop or ask a friend to do it, should cost around 400 dollars or less, dont go to shops for the subs and amp you'll get jipped, go to ebay, they have great deals good luck and keep it thumping... o yeah any other questions feel free to email me at [email protected]
