Best full car sub setup?

  • alright im gonna be lookin for a car soon and im goin SUV. so, i need to know the perfect setup dont hold back! my only limitations is dont make it insanely expensive and break my car windows are catch my car on fire or some **** lol!! i want 12" subs. im lookin to probably get a sub box with a plexi-glass front so that i can put in led lights and hook them up to light up with the bass(so if you know any boxes that come with a plexi front then thatd be great but if not ill get someone i know to build it.and also i want good speakers for in the door so that i can hear everything else while still having badass bass. so if you have suggestions on what to get for that too thatd be great cause i wanna put in leds that flash to the bass under my dash and under the seat for in the back and i dont want them to blow. umm i figure ill need a good alternator, probably better battery than what ill get, amp, probably capacitor if needed, i want to get a radio with ipod connection and shows what song is playing an pandora and all that but ill check into that, and anything else you guys think ill need(like the wires and setup kit stuff. ive been researching this for a few days now and ive kinda got an idea of what i need to pull out the full potential. and i also read that the type of music i listen to could need certain subs.. well i listen to ALOT of heavy metal, alt metal, and melodic death metal with some bass drops in them, BUT i also listen to alot of big bass songs like songs from yelawolf. and also ive been in a couple old friends cars and theirs went with like the double bass the drummer was playing and it sounded sick so i really need to now what to get. i have a pretty big price range so dont worry just dont make it like super ****** expensive. i wanna be able to get everything without having to save up for forever haha. and finally if there is any other info you need on my goal or preferences or ANYTHING please let me know cause i WANT the setup that will blow my ******* mind lol and ill make additional info on this question or ill email you if itd be easier

    its going to be harder than you think to make a box like that. if you do plan on making a box make sure your wires look nice and be careful on drilling. you want it to look clean as possible

I am going to recommend buying used from forums or craigslist etc. I've spent a decent amount on my setup but I've spent just as much just on the electrical. H/O alt $500 Good head unit and installation $400 + 0 gauge wire and terminals $200 + AGM Batteries (depends but $200-$1000) Good amp (2000 watts rms +) used $400, new $800+ subs used $200-$400, new $600+ Box (parts alone for good quality) $200 We haven't even talked about your mids and highs. To answer your question I highly suggest starting with finding a good amp and do your electrical first. This will give you better insight into matching your subs to your amp. example: I have 2 Sundown saz 3000d's and 2 Ascendant Audio Mayhem 15's, subs are 2000 rms. If I decide to run 4 subs I would find some rated at a lower wattage, prob sundown sa-15.

Well since u didn't mention ur budget imma give a setup I can afford and im pretty broke. So to get started a custom made box is a must dnt get anything like from best buy n sh** like dat. Subs u should look into the ORION HCCA they have 2000 rms and the would shake ur grandmas wig off!! Amp get a hifonics Brutus hfi2000d, if u run 2 subs get 2 (if u get the hcca). Wire definately 0 gauge. Deck, unless ur getting an indash Sony xplod I recommend I think they are sick. But now u got 2much bass get a highs amp and some good speakers. Finally yelawolf is cool but tech n9ne is better bro.
