Do I need a receiver to power my subwoofer?

What do i need to power my car sound system? speakers and subwoofer?

  • i have 3 x 8" subwoofers, 2200 watt, and i have 2 6x9 1000watt kingwood speakers i need to know what amp i will need to power all this, or what i will need to power this. here are the details for the subwoofer Frequency 35Hz-300Hz Woofer 3 x 8" Woofer Max Power 2200 Watts Sensitivity 90dB Impedance 4 ohm Magnet 30 oz each Woofer Voice Coil 2.0" (4-Layer) Dimension 81cm(W) x 33cm(L) x 34cm(H) This is the details for the 6x9's Frequency 40-20KHz Sensitivity 92dB/W/M Max Power 1000 Watts Impedance 4 ohm Magnet 30 oz Midrange 65mm Piezo Tweeter 2 x 16mm, 4 x 12mm Voice Coil 35mm Now what amp will i need to power this? and i would like to power another 2 front 220 watt speakers if i can? gona need one ******* huge amp.... also the frequency range of that subwoofer is a little poor, you need it to work down to 20hz really....
