Car stereo problems!?

I just installed a new car stereo with a line in port, and when i play my ipod in only plays my music on the speakers in the back. What can i do to repair this problem?

Answer:
The front speakers aren't driven by the stereo; they're driven by the radio. Either the front speakers will have to be rewired to the stereo, or new front speakers added which are driven by it.
