How good are the Alpine Type E Subwoofers?

  • i am thinking about getting 2 alpine type e 12" subwoofers but i dont know what amp i should get. I was thinking about getting a 500w mono alpine amp would that be enough to power these subs? If not what amp can i get that would sound good and be affordable?

    im about to get two alpine type r 12s an a m 1000 alpine amp an a box an everything else i need off amazon for like 600 bucks ( no head unit ) i have heard many alpine subs 1st dude who answered is kinda right but you have to remember JL is like the best of the best, alpine is a balance of everything they are clear as hell an sound great as hell, i would rather have a system that sounded really clear an nice then a system where the vocals where drounded with bass an you car rattles so damn much it falls apart

you should pick a amp that has a remote switch on it so that you can control the amount of bass you play. alpine doesnt make good bass amps
