Car stereo works but has no sound?

Car stereo no FM or AM. Then I pull the fuse, put it back works till I drive it?

I just installed an aftermarket stereo in my truck. It's a DUAL with ipod dock on it. The ipod dock works and I get sound perfect. The FM went out,so I pulled the radio to check the wiring on my install...magically the FM worked. Then I drove it...parked it, next time out...no good. Maybe I wiggled the wires last time and they fell back to a short. After a few times, I decided to check the fuses in the car...the fuse on the unit was fine... I pulled the fuse from under the dash..the vehicle's fuse...and when I placed the same fuse back..FM works...this was after it sitting for several hours...and have done it again that way...so it's not heat related...as i come out with the truck having been off for hours...no FM..cycle the fuse..works...HELP!!!! how would pulling the constant power "reset" the radio and it work...maybe a short in my constant wiring?!?!?!?!? come on gurus!!

Did you have it professionaly installed? If so I would takeit back to them.. If you didn't I would still take it to a audio shop and have them Do it.. It's probably a Crossed Wire . Shorting out something on the head.
