Which sub is the better choice?

Please I need help with a good sub choice for a good price with my monoblock 500 watt rms 1000 peak amp?

  • I have an xterminator 1000d mono-block amplifier 500 rms @ 1 ohm, which i blew my two 4 ohm 12" kicker comp vrs wired at 2 ohms each sub, in about 2 or 3 months with the gains turned down low i like to set my subsonic filter down to 15 Hz. What are some good subs that will be able to handle this amp i want louder sound and more depth?

    The Alpine type R is a great sub. It is rated at 500 watts rms but it can easily handle 800 watts rms. I have 500 watts going to mine and I can be heard a block away, literally. The definitley has fantastic bang for the buck. One of these subs is all I care to have. Check ebay for a great deal on the sub.
