How do i hook up an amp and a pair of subs to my stereo in my car?
-
i have 2 12" subs and an amp and i have no clue how i am suppose to install them into my car. i dont know if i should hook it up into the back speakers and splice into the wires or run it up to my deck. i have a sony xplode deck. and is there any special attachments i am going to need to hook the subs to the amp then to the stereo? what do i do

Answer:
i assume the amp is going to run the subs only, i assume the splicing into the rear speakers is to hook up the amp using the high level (speaker connections), if this is what ur thinking your deck should have rca hook ups (low level) and this is better then. you can buy an amp hookup kit, the legnth of the wire and the amps the amplifer pulls determines the kit to buy. if you have a manual see what wire they recommend, other wise post the amps model # and possibley someone can help.
