What kind of amp should I use for a 15'' MTX 9500?

What kind of amp would power my MTX 9500 the best?

  • I have everything wired with 4gauge wire... my lights dim when I hit big notes, I already have a high output alternator but I'm getting a yellowtop battery soon... what reasonably priced amp would power this sub the best?

    the thing is you are pushing to much power whith those monsters they are 4 ohm 2000 watts peak each so you are pushing 2000 rms on both of the speakers i recomend the hifonics brutus 1600 rms i have one my self they are sweet im pushing two 1200 watts subs im using my amp in to one ohm stable and i love it my car bump hard i think you will be happy whith this amp is one ohm stable i hope i can help u make sure u have a 2 farat capasitor so your battery wont drain
