Is it hard to install car dvd built in headrests?

HELP!! Need to find a car DVD player that plays video from portable hard drive!?

• OK.... I've been doing an extensive amount of searching and researching for a DVD player that plays video of a USB device. I know that there is a lot out there, in-dash, flip-down, etc. Here is my problem: I have two portable hard drives (1 - Western Digital 1TB FAT 32 & 2 - Seagate 640GB NTFS) both have movies in avi & mkv formats. I need a either a car DVD player, flip-down TV with dvd player, or in-dash product that will play those movie formats from either portable hard drives that i have. It doesn't matter which hard drive or what format the hard drive has to be in (FAT 32 OR NTFS) as long as either one of the two work. I know there are products that play avi or mkv formats but only from a flash drive ranging from 8GB - 32GB.... That's where I run into problems. I've only been able to find products that will support a flash drive and not a portable hard drive. I've been looking for about two weeks and nothing. P.S. It doesn't necessarily have to support an actual dvd disc since what i'm interested in is looking for something that supports either hard drive with avi files. I PREFER VIDEO FORMATS IN AVI I hope I explained my dilemma clearly so everyone can understand. I NEED YOUR HELP ASAP! Thanks!!!!

  Its going to be hard no manufacture out there that i know that can play off a portable hard drive because it would take to long to read and register the files. you might be better off putting a carputer in your vehicle.
