Cassette or Cig Adapter for Mp3?

My car has a cassette play and a cigarette burner, which would be better to use for an MP3 adapter. I've heard cassette's to mp3 adapters can sometimes make annoying sounds, does anyone have any comments on either one?

Honestly, get an FM transmitter. You can get ones that just plug right into your Mp3 player and can just sit where you want it or you can get ones that plug right into your cigarette lighter thing. They work wonders. I've tried the cassette types and the wire to it is what causes the annoying sounds. Just wear and tear causes the wires inside to get all fkd up. Also, some of the FM transmitters that plug in, will charge your Mp3 player. You can get them at Walmart, Shopko, Target, probably Radioshack and Best Buy too.
I say cassette would be best since the cigarette burner one is an FM transmitter it produces a lot of static
