How do I change the front speakers in my car?

Whats wrong with my car speakers?

  • I've had these speakers installed in my car for quite a long time ( i have a 2001 nissan xterra, and only the front speakers have been swapped; pioneers don't remember the exact model). but my speakers have been good up until about christmas. Onc hristmas i got a new radio for my car which is also a pioneer model, and a nice 250 watt subwoofer that i installed myself. I hadnt had any problems for about 4 or 5 days, then the radio started turning off and on. I checked the connections and everything was good, but it ket doing it seldomly. I also noticed that my speakers began acting strange; the speakers would go from sounding fine, then all of the sudden the pitch to the music would change and sound like the speakers were in a tunnel, or at least the resonance made it seem that way. Also over the past few weeks i've noticed the volume is going down, and i've had to turn the radio up to keep the music to the level it was at (i originally couldn't get my speakers louder than about 35 before the subwoofer and speakers sounded like they would burst) now the speakers are at 45 and they sound quiet. Any idea if it's the speakers or the radio, and if its the radio should i take it back?

  • Answer:

It's not a wiring problem, the problem is in radio it's self. Take it back, and get your money back.
