How good are Q power subwoofers?

Trying to find a good amp to power 2 Alpine 12" SWR-1242D Subwoofers?

• I'm looking for a decently priced amplifier with about 1000 watts RMS power for my new subwoofers. The subwoofers are 500w RMS each, so that'd be 1000w RMS total.

  damn that is going to require some heavy duty voltage to power. A good amp would be like the JL 1000/1v2 which is rather pricey. woofersetc. and ikesound. both carry decent amps, as well do does amazon.com when you can get a good one on sale. I highly praise JL audio, higher end Kicker, old PPI, and others in that ball park. If you want just a good cheaper mono block, go for the JBL or You will need a decent battery, alternator, as well you will need either 2ga. if not 0ga wiring. Now people will tell you 4ga. is enough, which if your running just that amp 4ga. is ok, but if your even considering running 1000+watts rms, i would get 0-2ga. and at least 1 cap.
