Is a roller disco party a lame idea for a 17th birthday party?

  • My birthday is coming up soon and i'm thinking of having a roller disco/rave party. I've asked some of my friends what they think of the idea and some have said that it would be real sweeet and others have said that it might potentially be "really gay" now i know most of you will say just do what you want to do and it will be fun but that's not what i want to hear! how could i make sure this party is great and not stupid. i guess i'm just worried because it's not like people can drink and stuff at the roller rink but i would be fine with them doing it before as long as they don't act too shwasted in front of my mom at the party..soo please just help me out here:)
