What Can I Do for My Mom's 49th Birthday?

  • I'm 13 and don't know what to do for my mom's birthday. When I was little I used to make my parents handmade cards and stuff but I have a feeling they never really liked them. My parents don't really show to much affection. There's never any "I love you's" or "thank you" or hugs or anything like that and my mom told me that's because I should already know that they care about me. (Which I do) When I was looking for answers to this question all I saw was Breakfast in bed (that won't work I'm not allowed to use the stove) or make her something. What else can I do for her birthday that won't require me to spend any money? Maybe write her a letter on why I love her or something? No rude comments please.

    I`m a lot older and feel it a privilege that someone so young can give that warmth, shame your folks don`t know how to show there feelings. I would love a letter with your personal thoughts that would maybe give your mum a true idea of the love you have for her. Sure you`ll give her a good birthday'

I'm 13 too. You could still do breakfast in bed without needing a stove (e.g; cereal, toast, coffee, orange juice) Perhaps you could make like a family tree, find a twig with branches coming off it, a pot, some soil, and you could stick post-it notes saying happy birthday, photos, and other stuff on it. That's just an idea... Hope this helps!
