Federal Income Tax and NC State Income Tax question from my paycheck?
-
My gross pay was 352.64. My federal taxable wages are the same. How was my federal income tax and nc state income tax calculated? Federal tax - 7.65 NC State tax - 14.00 Thanks

Answer:
The taxes were calculated based on how you filled out your Form W-4 (Withholding certificate) and how often you are paid. I tried to use http://www.paycheckcity.com to answer your question, but too much information is missing. Bostonian only provided the link to the payroll calculator because you provided so little usable information. Insulting people is not a good way to get them to do you a favor and provide valuable advice for free. I hope this helps. Gary
