I am working in two jobs one under the table?

• I work in two jobs ( in Florida) one of them under the table about (200$ a week)its a gas station and the owner did not even ask me for my SSN the other job ( 300$ a week) but it's not under the table , and i have been told that getting paid under the table is illegal and i was out of the country for Years and i didn't know this new expression ( UNDER THE TABLE !!) , so what should i do when i am filing my taxes this year , and this is my first time to file taxes as i was out of the country , can i get caught by the IRS what should i do !! what if some one went to the IRS and told them that i am getting paid under the table what may happen, i have been getting paid under the table for 2 month and a half , Please advice what should i do !.

  You are required to pay taxes on ALL of your income. Not just income taxes, but Social Security and Medicare taxes as well. Your employer is required to pay his portion of the Social Security and Medicare taxes, too. When you work "under the table" (which is NOT a new expression, it's been around for decades), you are breaking the law, and so is your employer. What should you do? Tell your gas station employer that you do not want to work under the table, and if he refuses to pay you legally, quit that job and find another one. And yes, if someone goes to the IRS and tells them that you are not reporting or paying taxes on all of your earnings, you will get in trouble.
