Tax forms for a part-time high school job?

Am I exempted and What forms should I file ?

  • Hi ! I'm international student doing an MBA degree in San Antonio, Texas. I came to the US in early August 2009. Started school in late august and got a job on campus in late November 2009. I have never filed taxes before, and I'm really having a hard time to know which taxes I have I have to pay and which ones I'm exempted from. I have three questions: 1. As an International graduate student doing an MBA, Am I required to pay Social Security and Medicare Taxes ? according to my paychecks, I do pay these taxes. 2. in case I don't have to pay social security taxes, what are the forms that I can need to file to get my money back ? 2. How many forms should I file for tax return and what are the forms ? The payroll service at school say that only international undergraduate student are exempt from paying SS and Medicare taxes. Because I'm an international graduate student I have to pay these taxes !!!!!!!!!!!
