Will I get unemployment benefits?

NYC Unemployment Question ... When will I get benefits into my bank account?

• My last day of work is next tuesday. The bookkeeper at my job told me to go to the DOL website the next day (Wed) and fill out the online application. Once I fill this application out, would the next step be the unemployment office sending my employer a letter? My boss already said he would not reject my application. I am making 615 gross income. what will i be taking home in unemployment. also, once i start getting the checks do i have to call the umemployment office to let them know i am still looking for work. when do i have to go down to the office and show them my interview/application log? I want to do this by the books because i dont like using the system and i am truly in a bad position and need the extra help until i find another job. please tell me step by step what the procedure is after i fill out the online application and what comes after that. Also, when should i start getting my money? Thanks.

The surveys that you do not have to pay a joining fee for are ok, but you do not make much money from them. From my own experiences, you can make some $500 to $800 a month by entering data online.
