What is "tax" when you get a paycheck?

My paycheck doesnt have any federal taxes took out every week, will i still get a tax refund check?

Only if you qualify for a refundable credit. Earned income credit. Cannot be a dependent, must be 25 or claiming a qualifying child. IF you claim EIC as a single person with out kids you cannot live in a household with someone else with a kid. Additional Child Tax Credit. Your income is too low. American Opportunity Credit. You'd have to have been a full time undergraduate student, pay tuition and be 24 or older.
