How to file taxes when I worked in two different states?

  • I worked in two different states in the year 2008. I worked in Iowa for half the year and made almost $11,000. I worked in Massachusetts for about 2 and a half months while I was in college and made about $1,500. I know I can include both states on my federal, but will I also need to file state taxes in MA when I made only $1,500? Also, does anyone know if I need to include the financial aid I received in the year 2008? Do I need to use the long federal tax form for that? Thank you.
