Walmart first paycheck?

Must i report a income change to dcf after employment starts or after i receive my first paycheck?

  • I have searched all over for the policies regarding this and cant find them anywhere. I know i must report a change in income within 10 days but i am not sure if it is from the date my employment begins or after i receive my first check. I receive my first paycheck the same day i receive my food stamps. I have been unemployed for a little while now and fallen behind on rent. I must give my whole paycheck to my landlord leaving me with no money for food. Am i still able to receive the food stamps for this month seeing as how i just began employment and haven't been receiving wages this month? Basicaly must i report the change 10 days after employment or after i receive my first check?

  • Answer:

10 days from getting the check.
