How Can I find out total taken from tax refunds for student loans? ?
-
I owe for several student loans and for the last few years have received letters stating that I will not receive Federal tax refunds because I owe on loans. What is missing is HOW MUCH they are keeping from me to repay the loans, who's getting the money, and MY BALANCE. How can I find out this info? Is there a website?? I owe on Stafford, etc. I live in GA, if that helps.

Answer:
The company should be on those letters that you keep recieving. Call them and ask them what they've taken and what you owe....the balance should also be on your credit report. it might be easier to simply set up a payment plan monthly so you can monitor the payments more easily.
