I'm living in PA but I'm moving to VA , can I file unemployment?
-
I'm working but I'm going to school in VA in the spring can I file unemployment. If so which state? Guess what I'm asking is there reasons / circumstances one could file unemployment ?
-
Answer:
Not if you just quit your job to attend school. If you were fired or dismissed without good cause, then you can qualify so long as you are willing and able to accept work. Generally, when you go to school your availability to work is limited and that prohibits you from collecting unemployment insurance.
