Does anyone know what a fugi is?

I see alot of questions but no real answers,does anyone really know what code 1201 from the irs means?

And I have been calling and been on hold for up to an hour without any one answering the irs phone lines.I have a job,and kids,so hard to hold for hours,and hear that they dont know anything either.Is there anyone with any realll experiences with this situation out there in the real world?And yes,generic code..but what happens next..and when will i KNOW, i filed my taxes the 21st of Jan.they were accepted by the irs on the 22nd of Jan.I was supposed to receive my refund 2/03 then changed to 2/24 now today..code 1201

    I'm having the same issue. First I had code 1121, and when I finally got through on the phones, was told my account was under review, to call back in three weeks if I hadn't heard from them or received my refund. Today my code changed to 1201. From what I'm finding on the internet, 1201 means that the return has been processed and is set to go out. Hopefully we'll both be receiving our refund in the next week or so.

I also got this code today I called the irs and was told my refund would be mailed on 2/27 the reason I got the code was that my refund was rejected by the bank on 1/30 for the name not matching the name on the return

1201 is generic. It's so generic that the phone assistors wouldn't be able to tell you anything other than allow 3-6 weeks for processing.
