Would should file school tuition money?
-
Me and my daughter both are i school fulltime and she is my dependent for 10 monthes of 2010. I didnt really think I could file my tuition because it money paid by loans and grants for both of us. When I added the 1098-t form it made a 1000 diffrences in my refund and 2000 when I added my daughter. My question is, she worked for 7 weeks at the end of the year and no longer in my household, who should file her school money? I already filed my taxes and I know I have to do a amend, would that delay my taxes?
