How do you delete cookies on Mozilla Firefox?

I need to know if I can delete Mozilla sqlite files?

  • I ran AVG on my computer and it came back with a load of tracking cookies. All the cookies came from the same place- Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\profiles\********.d… I followed the path, and found the cookie.sqlite file, but I want to know if I can delete it. My theory is this file's sole purpose is to collect cookies- therefore if I delete it- no cookies tracked. Am I Right? At All? will it work or do I need this file and the headache?

You will always get cookies from sites you don't visit, they come from sites that you do visit and unkowingly to you attach themselves to your computer so that when you access the internet they either track, report or spy on your browsing. Download Spybot, Adaware and Ccleaner to get rid of them.
