Computer Cookies Deleting?

I have ALOT of Cookies on my computer and my computer has been running REAL SLOW even though I am on a Broadband Connection. If I click "Delete All Cookies" will everything still work as before when I go to a Web Page that I have in my "favorites" or to a Game to play ? And will this help speed my computer back up by deleting the Cookies ? I am not computer advanced yet, but can do some things . :-) . Thank you in advance for you help.

Deleting cookies will not do anything to your pc.Sites sets this cookies so they can authenticate your session on a web page;nothing doesn't change if you delete them;do a disc clean up to remove all temp files such as cache,unused files,etc;also do a disc defragment weekly-this will compress your pc's old files for a future use(if needed) and will recover disc space and speed up you pc.

run a disk clean up and defragmenter both can be fond in the all programs menu\accessories\system tools...just incase here is a list of online virus scanners Onecare.Live.com (this is microsoft's) Housecall.Trendmicro.com Symantec.com Comodo.com these are free and will remove them from your machine
