How can I remove a computer trojan?

So McAfee did a scan and it told me that my computer had 2 trojans. I didn't know what trojans were until I read about them on google. Well I don't know how to remove them so can anyone please help me and tell me how I can remove the damn trojan please? Thanks. Ohh and by the way just tell me the steps on how to remove it don't tell me take it to a computer technician because even if I do, it will get a virus or a trojan later.
