How to get another user's details using RestFB?

GIVING my ftp details to others for business use?

  • Hi, I am a printer and I notice other printers accept files sent to them using ftp. Other printers just send a file with user name password and address in order for me to connect to there ftp client to upload designs. I want to use the same system. I have tried to setup the same system on my server and I find that if I give the entry details to people anyone can get full access to my server through the ftp client. Is there anyway I can set accounts for users I don't want to give any access to except for maybe 1 folder for their uploads? Please explain in baby language.

  • Answer:

There is a site called Lifehacker that walks you though with pictures and shows you step by step how to do this. They also show you how to only allow the permissions (folder access) you want per FTP client login. I figure this is the best way for you to learn then to read text here.
